FOREST HILL STUDY
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Concept: The vision behind the design was to create an elevated and inviting home study that expertly balances functionality and style. Inspired by the client's desire for a sanctuary where they could "disappear" and immerse themselves in their work, the design aimed to reflect their personality while accommodating multiple functions—serving as both an organized study and a comfortable lounging area for reading and writing.
To meet the client's needs, we focused on developing a layout that maximized storage along all four walls of the room. This approach ensured that the space was not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly practical. By incorporating bold colors and patterns, we transformed the study into a cohesive environment that effectively shuts out distractions from the outside world. The use of rich tones and textures enhances the atmosphere, fostering a sense of creativity and productivity.
Ultimately, the design aims to create a personalized retreat that caters to the client’s functional requirements while providing an inspiring backdrop for their daily activities. This thoughtful integration of style and utility ensures that the space is both a reflection of their individuality and a conducive environment for work and relaxation.
