BUNK BED HAVEN

Location: Toronto, Ontario 

Concept: Tasked with transforming a dated, oversized bedroom and walk-in closet into a dreamy kids' bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, we embraced the challenge of working with unconventional angles to create unique design features. The walk-in closet was cleverly repurposed into a spacious ensuite bathroom, complete with a full bath and double sink vanity.
At the heart of the room, a striking bunk bed steals the spotlight, boasting four twin beds, each with its own integrated shelving compartment and wall sconce. Adding depth and visual interest, a floating tread staircase in a stylish two-tone finish enhances the room's contemporary allure.
Pattern and texture take center stage in the ensuite, where statement tiles inject personality, while the main spaces come alive with a wallpapered angled ceiling and cobblestone-like patterns in the window coverings, bedding, and area rug.
Custom-designed two-tone closets, complete with an L-shaped workstation, provide ample storage and functionality for two. With careful attention to detail, the entire space was crafted to adapt and grow with the children over time, ensuring years of enjoyment and inspiration.
